Create a Mining Location

1. In the Setup Schedule > Locations or Setup Schedule > Locations > Surfaces tab, drag the Location icon onto the 2D Canvas.

A new location is added to the 2D Canvas.

2. In the Location Properties pane, in the Name field, type a unique name.
3. In the Model field, select the geological model that includes information for the location.

Note: If you do not see any models listed, use the Define Geology tab to add the model or models to your scenario.

4. In the Mining tab, set the mining parameters.
5. If there are any ancillary activities, select each tab and set the parameters for each ancillary activity.
